a much-needed update
I feel like I have been slacking in the area of blogging these days. what's worse, my iBook crashed last weekend, leaving me without a personal computer for a week and a half. I have to buy a new hard drive for it, and have my dear husband install it back for me. Trying to decide if that will be worth it, or if I can sell it to someone and just put the money towards a macbook (which I would rather do).
Just went through and updated my list... and now on the the blogged updates!
10. We went to Phoenix this past weekend to visit Amy. And I seriously fell in love. Arizona is a GORGEOUS state. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we spent a lovely four days eating, shopping, and just enjoying the fabulous weather. I think I could live there. So there's that...
23. I actually can't take credit for organizing our music collection. My husband did it while I was busy attending meetings to start up my own business, which I will talk about in a second. Still... its being crossed off my list because it has been done. I will faithfully help him keep it organized and up-to-date from now on.
35. I started my own business! I am now a ARBONNE consultant, and help other people learn how to better take care of their skin with all natural, pure, cruelty-free vegan products. If you haven't used ARBONNE before, or have no clue what it even is, but want to learn more about shopping at wholesale prices, or even becoming a business builder, let me know! ARBONNE website
62. Update on the Couch to 5k... Jon and I started running last week, and proceeded to stop running because of Phoenix. However, we will be starting again this week, and are working towards a 5K on Thanksgiving morning!
76. Jon turned me on to Mango, a new site where you can learn other languages for free! I am on the second lesson in French, and it is fabulous. Very repetitive, and it allows you to hear someone else using the correct pronunciation, which I think is helping me learn a lot quicker. Yay! I hope to be fluent in French in the next few years.
84. Bi-weekly bible study is going well! We meet every other Thursday night, and started at the beginning of the summer. We just started a study on Romans that I am really excited about!
95. I made my photoblog. I am really excited about using it more, and am about to go post my first picture on it.
So that's where I am. I'm really excited that I have kept on working on my list!

my long list
about a month ago, while i was mindlessly wandering around looking at things online, i stumbled across something called Mission101. the basis of it was to come up with a list of 101 things you would like to accomplish in a time period of 1001 days. me being the keen little list make that i am, decided this was the perfect challenge for me!
it took me the better part of a month, but i finally finished my list, which is listed to the right of this blog. i am really excited about undertaking this challenge, because jon also made a list. a lot of our things overlap, as a lot of our wants, wishes and needs are the same. i've linked to his blog on the side of this one.
i would highly encourage anyone reading this to make their own list. it took a lot of time just sitting around trying to think of 101 things to do, but i'm glad i did it.
